Route of the Castles
It travels through two attractive routes: it leads first us to the castles of Calonge, Castell d´Aro, Palamós,
Torroella de Montgri and the Bisbal, the quality of clays and the artisan tradition have done of the bisbal
d´Empordá the capital of the ceramics. Also it allows to visit the medieval populations of Pals,
Peratallada, Palau-Sator, Cruilles and Monells. Centres that conserve the medieval essence:
the castle, the tower of the tribute and the greater place.
The crossed second combines the imposing beauty of the bulk of the Montserry and Guilleries
with the majesty of the castles of Hostalric, the one of Montsoriu in Arbúcies,
the one of Solterra in Sant Hilari Sacalm and the one of Anglés
